Scottso, RIP.

The Professor has touched on more people than MOST professional politicians. Scottso single handedly moulded the music listening habits of millions of kids and young adults from the WMCA "Good Guys" days through last week!!! What other radio guy can come close to claiming that!!

There was a photo of a young Scott Muni in todays newspaper. I wouldn't have known it was him because radio guys are rarely in the print medium. I never saw a photo of Scottso at that young age...I didn't know Scott was an Armed Forces radio announcer transmitting to the troops in Guam...

...The Beatles would have achieved their worldwide fame with or without Scott Muni, however, artists like Bob Dylan would have probably struggled as underground acts for many unnecessary years if it weren't for "The Professor". Actually, I may have been able see a bunch of free Dylan shows in the Village if Muni didn't bring Dylan out of the shadows.

The world lost a good one this week and that sucks.
