Subject: Hi Sammy...How are you feeling now?
In reply to: Sammy 's message, "Now it's getting cold" on 19:40:03 11/14/04 Sun

There's definitely somethin' goin' down around here. Quite a few of my staff have been sick, too. Not exactly the flu but it seems like more than a cold. Fortunately (keeping my fingers crossed) it hasn't hit our household yet. I hope you're back up and at 'em for the holiday.

We are going to New York State for Thanksgiving. My sister-in-law moved back up there from Maryland, and she is hosting this year. We'll be right outside of Syracuse. She warned us to bring boots and overalls for Gumdrop -- there could be snow! (Sounds like your kind of place.) On the way back, we'll stop in Sussex County to see my family. And Mapguy has tickets to a Knicks game on Saturday. Gumdrop and I will probably take the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping around my where my dad lives. I guess that after Thanksgiving, it'll be time for Mrs. Sammy to launch into decorating your house for Christmas? You always give such a grate description of the wonderful work she does. Just...be careful when you help her! No climbing ladders, okay?

I hope you and your family have a wonderful, safe, overstuffed Thanksgiving. How's your mom doing?
