I know, I know. No one wants to hear about my love of the cold and snowy weather. But there's always something about the first snow of the season that brings a smile to my face.

I didn't catch the eclipse, I've been much too busy. I wish I had though from the reports of those who witnessed it they said it was really nice. Once again Sammy misses out!

The leaves seemed to come down all at once this year.One day everything was bright red and yellow, then suddenly it was all brown and gold on the ground. I haven't been able to get up to the River Road house but I'm sure the leaves are waist deep there. Time for some serious composting!
