I hope you're not just saying that 'cause you think there's gonna be lots of snow!

Mostly, I hope things improve in this world. We only have one, I wish we would take better care of it (and each other)..anyway, I will try to look on the bright side, as you are. I don't need much at all, and I certainly have nothing to complain about, so I'm going to try to focus outside my own world a little more.

Speaking of no complaints, we had the most lovely holiday season in years, I think. We spent Christmas and New Year's Eve at home. Just having that time to rest and enjoy my family meant the world to me. On New Year's Day, we left to see my father-in-law in Syracuse, and we're coming home tomorrow. Today it was 59 degrees in central New York State! Unheard of, for January!
