You may have heard them called "thumbprint cookies," because they are round and have a dab of jam in the middle. (You press your thumb into the cookie and make a little well for the jam; hence the name "thumbprint.") The dough is made with cream cheese and has a pastry-like consistency, instead of the crumbly-ness of other cookies. Man, are they goooood! If you want a recipe, I have a grate one from my Polish cookbook. (I know you bake cookies a lot 'cause you have so much spare time.)
