Subject: I'm waiting patiently for the streams to freeze

So here's how things go around here. My daughter Kate wanted ice skates for Christmas. Now that we have a new rink in town all the kids in school talk about skating..etc etc. yada, yada... So what do you know, wrapped under the tree Christmas day was a nice new pair of skates for her (you can always count on Santa to come through).

But what Sammy didn't count on is Santa leaving him a pair of skates also. (do you women do this to your husbands too?) So now were waiting for the streams to freeze so that we can go skating. These are the same streams where I skated as a young Sammy. I refuse to skate around mindlessly in a rink, I want my kids to have the same adventures I had.

If it would just snow we could ski.
