Subject: Good thing I love my kids, otherwise I'd sell'em off for medical experiments.

So my son (Mr Responsibility) has been caught drinking and driving the boat again. Last time he was bagged by a marine policemen that was a friend of mine who let him off. I was easy on him too because he took full responsibility and swore it would never happen again.

This time he was caught by my buddy who's shore home we keep the boat docked at. Apparently my son (and assorted favorites) came in the other night after midnight from being out watching the Point Pleasant fireworks and was blasted to the hilt and made alot of noise and disturbed my friend's family. In the morning my friend said he found beer bottles all over his yard.

So now Michel is learning the hard way, I've sold the boat and it will be gone tomorrow. Sometimes we must learn our lessons the hardway. He gave me his word and broke it, no second chances. Now if he wants a boat he will have to work and save enough money to buy his own, then I will have no say. But if it's my boat...it's my rules.

Tough love is tough. I know I'm doing the right thing but I can't help feeling awfull.
