I always liked September down the shore. The crowds are gone and the water is still warm (normally), it so much more restfull. Of course you don't have the benefit of lifeguards though.

Gumdrop must be as excited as Kate is to see her friends once again, of course there is that hint of aprehension over having a new (strange) teacher, but excitement none the less. Kinda brings it all back doesn't it? There's nothing like the world through the eyes of a young child, so precious. Too bad they become ugly teenagers...heh heh heh! Lois and Michel have been torturing Mrs Sammy regarding new stuff for school. The last thing they want to do during their last week of summer vacation is go shopping with their mother...HOW UNCOOL! heh heh heh.

Like I said...It's the most wonderful time of the year!
