...I didn't get to see mom on Sunday because of this weather. We planned grilling outside and easily could have moved it indoors but she didn't feel like going out at all. You've got to give an 84 year old a lot of leeway. I was secretely glad because the weather has been hammering my back for two weeks. It'll be nicer for all on a sunny day.

...Hope you three had time to visit the old walled city of Quebec. We saw SOME of it as a stop over on a cruise, ate lunch at a cafe with loud striped awnings. Didn't get nearly enough time there, but thats ok, we can always re-visit.
