Quebec is just beautiful. We stayed at the Chateau Frontenac, that famous old French-style hotel that sits on a bluff right above the river. I don't think I've ever seen, much less slept in, a place that lovely.

And the food! I highly recommend a visit. There's plenty there to see. It's a very European city -- charming without being pretentious.

You're right about your Mom; ya gotta go with what they can feel they're able to do. The important thing is that she's still here with you. I know how you love grilling, but there's plenty more time to stoke those fires this summer. What will you cook first?
