Because I've known you so long, ZH, I'll cut you a break on this one. You obviously know little about soccer if you say MLS is the "worst soccer league in the world." It's certainly not at the level of the German, Italian, Spanish, English, etc., leagues, but it's not the worst in the world by any stretch.

There are pro soccer leagues on every continent. If you're measuring on a percentile scale, with 100 being the best league (probably the German or Italian), then MLS would probably fall in the 70-80 range. Good, but not great.

Landon Donovan signs with one of the world's premier teams, doesn't play much and decides to "transfer" back home. To say he "couldn't hack it" in Europe is silly, because he's played there before. And there are dozens of Americans playing in Europe now, none of which are as good as Donovan. You need to know your facts before you make such a blanket statement.

Now go back and argue with Dad about the KCAC. You've got much firmer footing to stand on in that case.
