...when the former president wants to oust the current president, he simply goes to every big donor in the business community and tells them to squeeze the university until the current president resigns. Punish the students, that's the way to oust a prez!

Lot's of things have happened since that would seem to suggest him moving on was the right thing to happen.

...that he should never have been hired in the first place.

It's just sad that a president who spent the last five years of his presidency in hibernation would further hurt the university by telling donors to stop giving money because he doesn't like the guy who replaced him.

And yes, I think O'Neal has the school on the right track. I'm more on the outside now so I don't see as much, but I've generally liked what I've seen.
