The SAC might only get three teams in this year. Some of that might come from the apparent rule changes that make it more difficult to get a lot of teams from one conference in.

Some of it might come from the fact that raters have a clue. 17-10 (OCU's record) should get you an at-large? 18-12 (Northwestern's record) should get you an at-large? Wow. I can think of a lot of years the Eagles finished better than 7 over .500 for the season and never entertained a wet dream about making the national tournament.
