The female cowers in the far corner of the equine dwelling, trembling uncontrollably now as she listened to the stranger's residual footsteps, drawing him steadily nearer her location. She sank her front teeth into her lip as yet another contraction hit her, no longer able to simply ignore their increasingly frequentoccurence.


She protectively draws her hands over her bulging belly as the man's footsteps cease at the front of the stall, instinct taking over as she anxiously awaited the arrival of her discoverer.
