Deciding it was best to hang around the doorway and avoid Nyxia, his gaze instead fell onto Kyan. The snow leopard was enough away from the other pair in the room to be removed without notice. Or at least without disturbing the other and drawing attention. "Kyan." He called to the other, voice a lure and a beckoning asking for the other to come over to him. If Kyan approached him, he would continue to speak. "Let's move to my study." There was a sort of impassive smile on his face, something there just for the surface appearance. Underneath, he was tense with the fading of anger. There was little doubt that Kyan could feel that tension, perhaps even feel his frayed nerves. That was odd, but the tension in the air was no doubt a result of some kind of conflict that the Master vampire had just had. The male took a deep breath and plunged in, head first. He took a few careful steps towards Dorjan, making sure that the room wouldn't spin and make him dizzy like the last few times he had attempted to walk. Ky's arms swept wide in front of him, testing the air and grabbing for it like it was going to support him. A stumble, but Ky caught himself. It wouldn't do to fall in front of the Master. Ky saw the smile, or near smile, on his face and was frightened. It was either that Dorjan had just been extremely angry, or about to get extremely angry. Either way, Ky didn't want to experience it. But, the Master called. His eyes held fear, tons of it, but his feet betrayed his mind and kept walking forward. Ever onwards. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |

Date Posted: 19:49:50 07/16/06 Sun .. He watched the other approach without emotion in his eyes, the smile remaining in place though the corner of his mouth tipped down and tightened as Kyan fell. He was still wounded; Dorjan had forgotten that. That could change his plans a bit, but could be solved easily enough. His eyes slipped closed for the barest of moments, getting something sent to his study in all order and haste. "Come." He held his hand out to the other, palm facing the ceiling, having realized that Kyan would not get far without stumbling and tripping, probably hurting himself even more. And that just wouldn't do for right now, not one bit. There was always the chance that it was the offering to the doomed, of course, but what choice did Kyan have with Dorjan afterall? .. He slid his had into the vamp's as he neared, his feet bumping against each other and making him stumble. His vision was clouded by white for a moment before clearing. Injured? Who, Ky? The male shifter inhaled carefully, trying to avoid any movement in his jugular region. But, the cautious movement still caused pain, and he winced, which only caused more pain. Ky closed his eyes for a minute, determined not to burst into tears of pain. Men don't cry. Then again, men also don't become furry ever month. He looked up the slight height difference at the vampire, hoping that pain wouldn't be at the end of this small trip up the stairs. In reality, it was probably something much different.
