Subject: SO IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED...

SO IT’S FINALLY HAPPENED

The Wrestling Magazine’s predicted that it wouldn’t happen WWE said not a chance and even some In Pheonix’s camp doubted that it would happen but the roster split has happened The Pheonxi promotion has split down the middle and two great feds have been put in place The Pheonix Promotion of course and now the NEW MWI. The Pheonix Promotion Juggernat, the #1 wrestling company on Monday and Thursday Night kill themselves to make themselves stronger. This is truly a HUGE Gamble that will either truly tank or truly work in the highest sense of the word.

So What Are we Looking at?

In the Pheonix Promoton you’re looking at a product that will be based in 60% Stories and 40% Wrestling. With the people that they have on that side of the fence they can really experiment with the way they entertain people. When a PPV comes around expect that every match on that card will be motivated by a really layered good storyline and although belts and the quest to be champion will always be a part of it you’ll be seeing a lot more delving into the individual or team/stable’s character. This will be more about spectacle and intrigue than anything else going beyond the ring to get a good story.

In the MWI you’re looking at a product that will be 60% Wrestling and 40% stories. With The People they’ve got working over there they can really push the envelope in the ring. Expect a show that really resembles the ones when The Pheonix Promotion was doin the Puppet Masters Angle, lots of violence, and stories being told in the ring and in the arena. With the ring area serving as the stage.

Belts

The Pheonix Promotion keeps it’s World Title and The Excalibur World Title (cause of Phenom’s staying there) The International title and World Tag Team Titles.

The MWI Will get it’s World Title and Tag Team Tiles and will also get The Atlantic Title.

Sadly The Anarchy title will be bidding a fond farewell to The Wrestling fans

Expectations

In The Pheonix Promotion expect the weight to be put on Phenom, who is the only megastar in The Pheonix Promotion right now. You’ll be seeing a lot of Phenom until some other people step it up and get real over with the fans. Pheonix will also try to lift some of the burden and put it on Ensign Pheonix who is a fan favorite and will more than likely be a megastar by year’s end.

Expect Nightmare and Nobody to Really step it up with a good story. These two are tailor made for each other and a rivalry between them would be classic.
Also expect The Minister to have really good storylines, with so many other dark lords out of the way there’s room for a heel spiritual guru leading others down the path of destroying people. He’s really good on the mic so expect him to have a stable full of guys who can’t talk as well. The Minister might be one of these sleeper guys who end up in the Main event.

Vic Vegas is back, shedding the ridiculous Diesel gimmick forever this 7’5 347 Pound Bad Boy is surrounded by mystery and believe me the way his story unravels will be very interesting to watch. His mic skills are twice as good as they were be4 he retired, he’s been in Japan and Mexico kicking a lot of ass and I’m told he may go to the MWA to refine his skills. So he’ll be one to watch

The Icon, Jack Hammer, and Mr. Showtime are gonna make the International Title race fun to watch.

And The Potential for the Tag Team Division is unprecedented. With teams likeY2K and Gen X Leading the way not only will we get the chance to see some great competition, but we may get to see some of these tag team main stays get a shot at a singles career, Pheonix knows that in this business a company s only as strong as it’s tag team wrestling.

In The MWI look for the weight to be initially put on Glacier and The Wisdom as Pheonix works very carefully to make Paul Maxx a bonafide superstar. These three, will definetly be he keys to early MWI success. Glacier and The Wisdom just came off of having one of the biggest main events in Pay Per View History and I can surely bet that Pheonix will use a rivalry or even a team up for an early ratings push.

A Resigned Jeremy Payne will add some much needed speed to the line up with Oddkore and Jetpack being the only other small guys on the roster it will be interesting to se if The MWI matces the three of them p to give the show some really cool light Heavyweight action…even if there never is a Light Heavyweight Title.

The Thrill Kill Cult should especially excel here as a tag team. They’ll be a team with no excuses no Generation X to hold them back no Y2K to hold them down, they are the masters of Hardcore Tag Team Wrestling and I bet they’ll be ready to prove it. The Tag Team division has the potential to be strong but probably not as strong as it will be in The Pheonix Promotion. All These Teams have won Gold in The Pheonix Promotion and they have an opportunity to become superstars so it will be interesting to watch who steps up. I wouldn’t be surprised if some more high profile pairings come through the Tag Team Division every once in a while to spice things up.

But Expect to see these athletes in particular to do some really brutal and creative things in the ring. All of these guys have great in ring skills and with Pheonix’s inate genius I’m sure these guys will be able to put out a good product.

Which Fed Will Be Better?

With all the “It depends on what you like” talk aside Pheonix I basically face with the same problem with different packaging with both companies. With Both Pheonix has to combine the recognizable with the unknown.

With The Pheonix Promotion Pheonix has a recognizable brand. But for the most part he has either untested or unrecognizable talent. A lot of the MWA call ups ended up in The Pheonix Promotion and most will be adjusting to new rules after being bumped up the totem poles.

With The MWI Pheonix has a lot of recognizable stars. But he has a new brand that he has to build. With the acception of Glacier, no one is really doing any big time adjusting to the roles that they’re playing in The MWI. There is some new talent but I doub they’ll be leaned on as much as they would if they were in the Pheonix Promotion. He has to make sure that he doesn’t end up creating Pheonix Promotion 2 just because he could grab high ratings.

In short This Is a Grand Experiment that will either go really badly right away or something that will develop into something spectacular.

I wish all involved the best of luck
