Welcome to another edition of Backstage. 'Tis Me The Informer, Let's get to the dirt!

Johnny Rotten

In Probably the biggest story of the new week Johnny Rotten has been resigned to Pheonix Enterprises. His contract ran out about a month ago and with really nothing for him Pheonix did not go to the table right away to make a deal. But of course with the roster split and the growing need for quality people Pheonix contacted Johnny and it only took about a week to get the deal done. My inside sources say that Johnny will be sent to The MWI and will probably in time be an impact player there, the plans for him resemble the plans for Paul Maxx to make them both big stars. Johnny has so much untapped potential and it'll be great to see it all come out. Of course it'll take me a bit longer to get excat details of the deal but as soon as I have them I'll blab them.

Aaliyah Carver

Pheonix is in prelminary talks with Aaliyah Carver about a possible return. She's pretty much all healed up and from what I've been told both parties wanna make this happen. Dark Angel still has a considerable amount of time left on her contract so the only boardroom talk might be an extenstion or a restructuring on her current deal. But most of it will have to do with timing and finding a way to slip her in. Carver never lost the Cruiserweight Title but from the looks of things there may be no Cruiserweight Division to speak of for a while. Pheonix knows that Carver drew great raings and has Superstar potential, it's just a matter of using her in a proper and believale manner.

If and when Carver does return I'm told she will be sent to The Pheonix Promotion. Not only because of her over the top character but because of her size. The Pheonix Promotion is definetly the smaller of the two feds and Carver could do more with people closer to her size.

Pay Per Views

Of The Big 6 PPV's that we've had every year The MWI will be geting Autumn Annhiliation, Overdrive, and Anarchy Rulz.

The Pheonix Promotion will get Lord of The Ring, Redemption and of course Pheonix Rising.

Shockwave will be shared by The Pheonix Promotion and The MWI

Pheonix says eventually two more PPV's will be added to each feds line up to return them to a big five or big six system. Which Pheonix says is the best way storyline wise to do Pay Per View. Basically Pheonix Enterprises will eventually put out 10-12 shows a year without ruining the storytelling.

New Show

Xtreme was the losest to guessing the roster split so he won the opportunity to have a show. Apprently he's getting his stuff together and hopefully he'll be on soon.

Upcoming Interviews

I will sit down with Pheonix Masters sometime this week and interview him about the split and whatever else is on his mind

I will also sit down with The Franchise Phenom and get his thoughts on the expansion and what the future holds for him.
