Even though YiPing's performance won the applause of everyone and the admiration of Qing Wu Ye, she refused to allow herself to work at places like this. Though Fang Shu was not economically well off, she made all efforts to borrow money from classmates to lend to YiPing, only hoping that this will give YiPing a little help. YiPing and Fang Shu's true friendship is deeply touching. YiPing returned home and saw RuYing bringing her allowance and her shoes over to her house and is telling her mother about talking to YiPing about her tempper. in YiPing's ear, it seems that RuPing is saying bad things about her in front of her mother.RuPing's good intentiions become an act of charity in YiPing's eyes. Finally, RuPing left in anger, YiPing sat down without any words to say or any strength. IN her eyes, a trace of sadness and blindness can be found. In YiPing's heart, she cearly know that RuPing is the only kind hearted person that wants to help her among the people "from the otherside", but seeing RuPing being so carefree and warm and remembering her own difficult road in life, her heart is filled with grivance and feeling of injustice, thus the words she said is filled with coldness and knifes that can pirce through human hearts.

When YiPing discovered that her mother, wihtout her knowing, was washing clothing for people to earn money and has not eaten for days because there is not a single rice left in her family's rice bowl, in moments of sadness and emotional state, she wanted to accept her job at the ShangHai Night Ball Room to solve her family's financial difficulty. Yet her mother used sharp words and even threatened suicide to stop YiPing. when YiPing finally gave up, mother and daughter hugged. When Li FU Guan came to her house for help about the instability of Ke Yun's emotional state, YiPing realize the endless problems that she must face in reality. THus, YiPing secretly accepted the work as a singer at the ShangHai Night Ball Room. iN front of Qing Wu Yet, YePing firmly stated her working curriculum, which seemed naive and ridulous in the eyes of a big rich businessman (for example: only sing one show a day, she can pick her own song, everynight she must go home before 12 o'clock, and $100 a month and must be prepared...etc). When Qing Wu Ye asked her why does she think that he will accept her offer. YiPing said with pride: Because I will become the main stem that holds up ShangHai Night Ball Room!" Thus, WeiWei became the "White Rose" of the ShangHai Night Ball Room. Her first show, when she was singing the song [Love & Rain], Shu Chen came in because he had to interview Qing Wu Ye. When Shu Chen saw YiPing, who was dressedin lavishing cloth, he immediately realize that she was the girl that he met the other day. When YiPing finished singing, a loud applause spread through the ball room. YiPing, despite the praise, smiled andwalked backstage. What a refined and refreshing "white rose"!
