Ask local businesses and shops, and go in person. Tell them that you are looknig for sponsors to help cover the costs related to the pageant, such as the dress, etc., and not the entry fee. Most companies are more than happy to help in any way. Be sure to let them know what you are using the money for, and send them a follow-up after the pageant. My family has done this numerous times, as there are four of us competeing. Many times, we have had every expense paid for by sponosors.
