I finally KNOW! In the newly released Special Expanded Edition of the AWTR soundtrack, it has the entire quote as stated in the movie, and states that it is from the New Jeruselum Bible, Copyright 1985 by Doubleday, a division of Random House, Inc. and Darton, Longman, and Todd, Ltd.

BTW go out and get this CD right away - it has, in addition to the normal soundtrack, Cannonball(The breeders), Friday on my Mind (Noogie), and Empty Spaces (Fuel). (aka the beginning song, the song when they comment on Jamie's dress, and the song he's listening to on the bus.) And it says it has some dialogue in Only Hope but I haven't heard it yet.

Hi everyone....its really nice to find an up to date fan forum for the breathtaking movie A walk to remember......I dont want to bore u all by going on about the film but I watched it for the first time quite recently while i was and still am ill from work. It sounds corny I know but i never thought that a film could change a persons life.....in so much as not taking everything for granted and realising that the most simple things in life can be the most satisfying......anyone i dont need to sell this to you i am sure you all feel the same. Anyway my point as well as to meet you all in this forum is to ask anyone about getting my hands on A walk to remember memorabilia. I have scoured the net and have practically worn out ebay....i just recently lost two auctions for some magazine clippings from the film. I have brought both US and UK (thats where i am from) orginal posters but i cannot find any genuine photographs from the film for sale. I am also interested in buying any props from the film...but i know these are rare....just out of interest I own the pink sweater that Landon gives Jamie as a present..... Anyway i would be grateful for any help anyone can offer on locating items and have enjoyed reading bits about you all....hope to speak soon...take care x Foxy

I was sick this past Monday and Tuesday and therefore stayed home from school both days, so I've been busy catching up with my work, which I did so it's all good now. lol. Last night I went to the first home football game of the season, and had a little problem with one friend but I really don't care about her, seeing as she's the only one out of many who had to act that way, so she's insignificant. (Heh, I sound so mean...oh well. She is such an unmentionable.)

I have a wedding to go to today, so I'm excited!!! =D hehe, I LOVE weddings. And how's this for coolness - the people don't need the limo for an hour sometime during the reception, so my sister, the kid who lives next door to us, and I get it to ourselves that whole time!!! Wowness, I can't wait!! lol. (Remember the kid whose trampoline we used to always jump on during the summer? It's his older sister who's getting married. So of course he's the one we're riding in the limo with.) I've never been in a limo so yeah, I'm really really looking forward to tonight!

Geezums, it's 8:25 in the morning here and 43 DEGREES outside!! Not cool! Brrrrrr... luckily it's not cold in the house. Why can't I live in Florida?! (Okay, I take that back, b/c of Hurricane Isabel...did it hit there at all? I heard the first place it hit on the east coast was actually North Carolina!)

Anyways, I guess I have nothing more to say so I'll close... ttyl Katie!

Today I watched AWTR for the 23rd time, and cried A TON. LOL. It was like 12:30 pm here when I watched it, before my mom got home. OMG I still knew all the lines, the order of the scenes, all the music and could hum to it, or sing the words if it had them, lol. And I haven't watched it since like January, something like that? LOL!

I watched AWTR for the first time last night and I absolutely adored it! In fact today, I went out and bought the DVD, the book and the sound track and am working on learning the songs.I was however dissapointed that "Lighthouse" wasn't on the soundtrack and I cant find the MP3 anywhere! Can anyone help me as I am desperate to have a copy of the gorgeous song! :)

I saw it Monday w/ three friends, I just neglected to tell you until now. You were right claire, I loved it. I cried. LOL! I cry at everything - even fabric softner commercials, I swear.   - Deleted scenes from AWTR cannot be accessed. As you may have noticed they are NOT found on the DVD as is traditionally done. They are also not anywhere on the net that ANYONE on ANY board I have met has found anyways. I don't think that they were released by the producers at all. Sorry!! Claire, I just finished reading your AWTR fanfic on fanfiction.net, and WOW!!!!!!! That is sooo good! Alot of AWTR fanfiction is very poorly written, but yours is just excellent!! You are very mature for 13 and have a great talent for writing! I hope you get your next chapter up soon, I can't wait to read it!! I really love how Jamie tells Landon about the baby, that is so cute!! It's so funny, I'm sitting in my room with this dorky grin on my face going "AWWW!" and my mom walks in, LOL. Wow. I don't read this whole board often enough. I just found that you had replied to like four or five of my posts from a while ago down the board on May 11 and I didn't notice until now! LOL!
Now I shall respond to what you have said.

First of all, the Perseids meteorite shower/astronomy conversation. I too have loved astronomy soo much for a long time. When I was seven, my dad took me out late, late at night to see the comet Hyakutaki or however you spell it... I think the AWTR people say the word wrong. But we saw that same one that they were talking about in AWTR. The timing is right and everything, the movie is set in what... somewhere between '95 and '97? This was '96. Anyways, that comet was AWESOME! When we saw it, the tail streaked halfway across the sky, it was so cool! I mean, me or my dad had never seen anything so cool! Then when I was eight or nine, he took me to see another comet. That one wasn't as amazing but it was still so cool, I could recognize it. We have seen numerous meteor(ite) showers since then, particularly the Leonids and the Perseids. I got a telescope when I was like six but I lost all the parts and now it doesn't work, LOL. I'm asking for a new one once my parents get money again. Next year when I go to scary high school, I'm joining the astronomy club.

Then as for us being so awtr obsessed. LOL about how you dressed up like Jamie, I understand that!! I wore the same beige sweater for months after I saw the movie first... I didn't have one that was the same color as Jamie's. I also did the overalls thing... and the collar shirts. And I celebrate 2 "AWTR days", one is Jamie and Landon's anniversary (I think it's March 12?) from in the book, and the other is the anniversary of the first time I saw AWTR, February 10. I took my "big sister" for her birthday. You are right, we are so alike that it's scary, LOL. It's like my big sis and my friend Maria, they always say things at the exact same time, so much that it's terrifying. LOL.

Well I'll see you later, it's getting late. (Are you in Eastern Standard Time? I don't know, I'm great at Social Studies but we did time zones at the very beginning of the year and you can't expect me to retain information that I learned back then when I didn't like school quite so much, LOL.)

First of all,i would like to say that i'm so happy to have found this forum.I live in belgium and not many people saw the movie so i thought i was the only one crazy about this movie.I'm glad to see i was wrong ;o)
Everything in this movie is so perfect!The actors are perfect together and so cute.I never saw anything so romantic.I'm totally obsessed by this movie,i can't help seeing it all the time.But i'm sure you all understand what i feel.
I really hope they will put deleted scene on the dvd.
And i wanted to ask if somebody could tell me the song landon is hearing in his headphones when jamie come to talk to him in the schoolbus?

- I'm not sure where to find it online, but if you buy the movie or the DVD, the cry video is on there. As for what's on the DVD, all I know is that there are commentaries, the movie, and the CRY video, but no deleted scenes.
