Subject: Yes, it does suck. :-/ But I think I'm making progress with the situation - tonight I sat down and talked to my dad about it for a little bit and he said I couldn't have it back right at the moment but we'd talk more about it later. So I hope I'll get it back soon... *crossing fingers* Rest inside....

About your BTS situation, I won't ask, but I am really, really sorry and I truly hope things get better and soon. I'll pray for you. Maybe this isn't helping any, but just so you know, my BTS situation turned out a lot better than I'd expected... my math (pre-algebra really, but whatever, lol) teacher is the absolute coolest. So nice, funny, the works. Doesn't assign ten tons of homework nor the mind-baffling work I'm used to in math. She said she isn't too fond of homework, especially weekend work, and isn't planning on assigning a whole lot. She got a Teacher of the Year Award in 2001...wow. I'm thinking right now that she's going to be my favorite math teacher, well, ever. lol. As for the rest of my teachers, they all said stuff about not being fans of a lot of homework and everything like that. And lately we haven't had much work at all. Everything right now is going great, actually. And, once again, I know telling you all of that probably didn't help much, and I'm really sorry if it didn't :-/...I just had to share all this with someone, since I expected this new school year to pretty much suck. Once again, I'll pray that your school year takes a turn for the better.

And about my dream, I actually knew that you weren't a redhead and as soon as I woke up I was like, "Hmm, that was weird." LoL. And actually that was my first dream I believe with you in it, even if it wasn't really you, LOL...which is funny because a few days prior to that I was wondering if I'd ever dream about you. lol, strange. That would be awesome if we really could meet someday, or be penpals, or something. If we were penpals I'd send you a picture of me so we wouldn't dream about each other anymore with no faces or bright red hair and freckles. LOL.

Anyway, I really hope I get my computer back again soon too, aka reach an agreement when I talk with my father figure later.
ttyl,

Claire

Let me tell you a sec, that BTS is better if I don't talk about it so subject ends now.

I hope you will get your computer back soon. ARe you ever gonna tell me why you got it taken away? I mean like why he said you didn't deserve it? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to or if you feel uncomfortable or w/e but I was just curious.

Know what? I've had an oldies song stuck on my mind ALL DAY! It's TORTURE I'm telling you, TORTURE! LOLOL! message is good though - overall good song.

By the way?
I have a nose.

Just to make up for what I can't tell you in an IM when I don't have anything to say - LOLOL! ANYWAYS!

I'm in the nursery Sunday morning - babies, 0-2... I'm excited. I love it there.

Do you have plans for labor day? I MIGHT but I won't go into details yet lest I get upset about not getting to go (danny might be sick) Anyways you DO get the day off right?? I think it's a national holiday so eveyrone does. Do you have 9/11 off? I think we should so we can go to church and pray and mourn... but that's me.
Got to go,
Katie

Well I'm sooo glad BTS is better for you =D I really hope it stays better.

About the computer thingy, we cleared that up in an IM so that's...ummm...all good. There we go. :p

Hope you have fun in the nursery too. :) I would love to do that, because I love babies.

As for Labor Day, well it currently is Labor Day as I type this, lol, but no, I don't have any plans. And yes we have it off. As for 9/11, I agree with you, but we do things at school involving remembering it, so I guess that works. (I remember in 6th grade shortly after it happened, my S.S. teacher was telling us how they might make it into a national memorial holiday type thingy, and the first thing that happens is, a girl in the front row goes, "Oh, sweet, do we get school off?" LOL...I mean it was rude of her to only consider that, but, if you think about it, funny. lol.)

Anyway I'm gonna go now...hopefully I'll talk to you on AIM soon or something...and OH YEAH!! Ch. 16 is up on FF.net! Yay finally!! hehe.

Bye bye for now,
Claire

[> [> [> [> [> [> [> WOW alot to say... inside. -- KatieS (I just tried to type "JF1" which is my s/n at the JAG board, LOL!), 20:29:12 09/01/03 Mon

I did have alot of fun in the nursery except two kids cried when we tried to change their diapers - LOL. They're sweeties though. All is right in the world when you have a baby in your arms. :)

We went to my grandparent's cottage at lake st. marys for labor day - and it rained THE WHOLE TIME. OMG! It was pretty boring but I was really happy because I got to see my cousin Sara who I rarely ever see. My family there is nice :) Today we came home and just watched movies and TV... now back to the week day drill. Sigh. But only four days this time - Woo hoo! :)

I know - what that girl said is sort of funny but yes, really insensitive. Kids at my school were so horrible before they found out how bad it really was. To them it was just a big joke that got them out of football practice. Only a few of us (including me) realized the severity right away, that's why no one understood when I was crying in language arts after the teacher told us, or why when we were watching CNN in tech ed I kept saying "oh my God". But some kids were making jokes and stuff about it and I was really mad and then the next day they came to school and were like totally trying to pretend they never said those things. **eye roll** Last year we had one minute of silence (I was really mad I thought it should have been ten) and I dunno what we'll do this year. I hope something good though.

I SAW chapter sixteen!!!! OMG! GREAT JOB!!!! Your writing never ceases to impress me! Just the way you use the language, the effect it creates... makes you feel like you're really there. I go through all the world of emotions reading your story... it's really great. Thanks for posting it :)

Did it rain alot in Illinois? At the lake there was flooding - the whole front yard was a puddle and the lake was really high. At home, the streets are full of water and those little gutters on the side by the curb are full of rushing water. It's still raining - needs to dry out or we're gonna be flooded knee deep! lol.
Anyways I got to go - my friend's friend is giving me crap in an IM. Sigh.
Katie
