Subject: missing a few lines

Hey guys! I don't know if anyone can help me but I hope so. I got "A Walk to Remember" from a library, and I have never read it or seen the movie. The problem is, a few lines on a page are ripped off. I am an avid reader, and this bugs me :) I would like to stop reading until I can see what this part says. If possible could anyone post these few lines on here (or email them to me)? I would really appreciate it!! I have the version w/ Mandy Moore & Shane West on the cover. It is pg 51-52, at the bottom. pg 51: from "Dont stay up too late working on the sermon..?" to "We said goodbye..." and pg 52 from "But do you know what I think?" to "I doubt the evening could have been worse..." Thank you so much!

[> Hey Jenni, I dunno if you still come around here and are going to see this, or if you still even need help, but if so I can help ya with that one -- Claire, 12:46:49 06/14/04 Mon

I have the same version of the book as you do :) Okay, the part you're missing on page 51 goes like this...
"Don't stay up too late working on the sermon, okay?"
"I won't," he said softly. Even with me in the room, I could tell he really loved her and wasn't afraid to show it. It was how he felt about me that was the problem.

Then on pg 52...
"But you know what I think?" she asked suddenly.
"Not really." By then I was pretty depressed.
"I think that all of this was in the Lord's plan somehow. What do you think the message is?"
Here we go, I thought to myself.

Sooo there ya go, if you already figured out what it was, if you even see this or whatever... then sorry LOL. Hope I helped tho. :)
