I watched that meteor shower. My mom, sister and I all watched it together...that was before I saw "A Walk to Remember" though, before I even read the book (I read that like in October of this year, 7th grade, and saw the movie in November). I LOVE LOVE LOVE astronomy. Before "A Walk to Remember" even came out, more than a year before I even read the book, I was such an astronomy nut. I got a telescope for my 11th birthday (I'm almost 13 now...less than a month left!) and almost every night during that summer that I possibly could, I was outside with my telescope and First Field Guide: Night Sky book all about the stars and planets and astronomy, looking at the sky... Anyway... I still LOVE astronomy, and it's cool that the character Jamie Sullivan of my favorite movie loves it so much too. :D Anyway, I talk too much. =p
