Subject: Bible passage

I'm wondering if anyone knows why in the movie the bible passage from 1 Corinthians 13:4 is different than it is in my bible... the movie said it really simple and in my bible the words are different but they mean the same thing... did they simplify it just for the movie?? What do u guys think?

Never seen the film but I do know why the difference between the scene in the film and the same passage in your bible may have come about. The bible has been updated several times......if you've got the King James version, for example, and the New English Bible was used for the film, you'd get the same meaning but with quite different words being used. I just ran dowmstairs and got my bible,and yeah, it is different. I do think that it has the same meaning though and it does use some of the same phrases.
