Date Posted: 14:03:35 01/08/03 Wed In reply to: serve?answer?--the company announcement section 's message, "Analaysis coming from that/ sectoral so forth.Excalibur" on 13:49:43 01/08/03 Wed I stated that ERG had the contract---no it is the preffered proponent--which Lost correctly pointed out and it now remains for it to get through the legal jazz satisfy the NSW Gov and all the other hoo hah then get it signed. With provisions, the point being to get down to brass tacks, much of the writedowns in the prior financial period relate to provisions---ERG has made substantial provision for contract delays, will it need all of it? If not--won't this be a positive impact on the next financials---not in March but in Septemeber 2003? Look at the reversal of profit on PCL? It is nearly over the 50% threshold now--this will have a positive effect on ERG financials. Then you have all the matching---with Sydney and San Francisco related to much of the writedowns---and then previous to that ofcourse related to the 46.3m ERG paid MOT to settle the alliance. Stevo.
