During the height of the bull market for techs in early 2000, I made what was an error that was pretty basic on the CAT thread at Stockhouse, for weeks people wouldn't talk to me---for they said it was my fault the share had declined and some people had bought in the expectation that what I had posted was correct---it was the Nasdaq secondary bord small caps listing---which I thought was goiing to be a given month of that year---but it failed to occur--eventually did get it right after several goes at it--LOL
Anyway in todays bear market I read whoppers on BB's all the time---and it is I would think many times deliberately done (in my case it was accidental--and I did correct it soon after) and it is now acceptable behaviour--whereas if you go back just 3 years ago it was totally unacceptable even if it was accidentally done. To me it has to be at least in accordance with the company announcement section, I mean if it is way out of kilter with that and doesn't even remotely resemble it and is further incorrect in some detail, I think it is a dirty deed.
Strange times for BB afficionado's.
Stevo
