Do you really believe just because it is 10 years later, that all of a sudden people are no longer killing each other with guns in their homes? That all of a sudden, they are now only killing "bad guys"? That all of a sudden, guns are no longer stolen from people's homes? That all of a sudden guns are no longer deadlier than knives?

Yes, I have the instinct to protect MY child, that is why I have no guns in my house. He would be in more danger from the gun than from any intruder.

I cited articles from scientific journals, not popular books.

It is your right to bear arms. But where does it say WHAT arms you can bear?

And this is not objective, but I cannot believe that I need a gun to protect myself from the government of the United States of America.

You will notice that I did not call for the outlaw of all guns. I just asked for some very reasonable precautions.

I WOULD like to see people acting rationally and voluntarily deciding to get rid of their guns, when they realize that the presence of guns is more dangerous than what they are supposedly protecting against.
