小弟未曾以參賽者身份參與過任何嘉爾頓比賽, 只係參與過一次 Rover 既比賽. 所以大賽經驗唔多.

而本人都認同亞黎既講法, carlton是童軍支部的一件盛事, 3種資源都充足，那可以得到錦標歸，強調一點是3種資源缺一不可. 當然勝負都會影響旅團聲譽啦.

而為什麼時代進步而童軍技能衰落, 原因可以好簡單, 都可以好復習. 我比較喜歡簡單地去試試解釋. 其實答案大家心中有數. 主要有三大方面: 1. 成長環境 2.青少年本身既素質 3. 總會既訓練政策

1. 成長環境: 時代進步, 生活質素提高, 可以提供既玩樂當然比以前多好多, 而這些玩樂只係需要一 d 簡單既情序和方法, 付出不多便可以獲得基本快樂或有成功感.

2. 青少年本身: 現今既青少年 (當然包括h我自己) 都係在父母既保護下長大, 可算係溫室兒童既出品, 經不起任何風浪. 當然如果受過訓練和學會看開一點既, 會好好多. 加上現今既小朋友怕辛苦, 喜歡不勞而獲或者付出些少便獲得最大既成果. 學習童軍技能係需要時間和苦練, 並非一朝一直可以快速學成.

3. 總會政策: 總會近年只係改革領袖訓練制度, 並無有效去改革成員間既訓練, 一味只係靠前線領袖既教授, 加上新旅團和一些新領袖, 連制服都著唔掂, 點樣教成員應該有既童軍技能.

我自己而言，我從來對比賽的態度是要有一批有野性(野性好重要)及爭勝心的成員才會出比賽，勉強無幸福。因為比賽的目的為增強各人做信心及合作，技能實為達此目的的方法。所以我沒有迫我旅的成員去。但有一個雞蛋及雞的問題，未見過比賽又何來有爭勝心呢？
