亞黎你為何有這麼樣的疑惑? 在小弟而言, 我只做了領袖 6 年, 實在談不上為 [老童軍] 和有豐富經驗領袖, 而亞黎的話的確令到我回想起我還是 [童軍青少年成員-11至16] 時的情況.

當時團長做了很多年, 我眼見很多副團長或教練員一個又一個的離開. 領袖人數下降, 然後成員人數又下降, 而當時的副團長或教練員都是想一試做團長或副團長的職位. 但無奈大部份人是眷戀高位, 因此他們都昇不上更高的層次. 而有些仍熱心於童軍運動的副團長會於其他地方找到他們所需, 但大多數會離開童軍運動.

但我相信領袖同樣可以過著歡愉的童軍生活和有進度性的訓練, 因為不同的職位有不同的經驗和所需的知識. 固不應該因旅團職位只得五個階級而昇不上更高的職位而灰心, 相反, 應該用更積極的方式去為自己打算, 例如, 找一些旅團以外的職位來獲得自己所需來令到自己過著歡愉的童軍生活和有進度性的訓練和把團再擴大而令到有更多的高位, 增加上合位的機會.

話須如此，始終人是有感情的，多年來的付出、所有青春的獻出都產生了一定的歸屬感，所以不容易離棄，但已經大部份的人都已經離去。

亞黎, 為什麼要這麼感慨, 需然自己旅團再無高位, 但總會無話過做旅團領袖唔比在其他地方同時做更高的職位. 所以, 不需要灰心難過, 你可以叫他們好好為將來自己打算.
