I wouldn't bring this up, but since both (Ken Russell and Amanda Donohoe) have admitted that they were sexually abused as children . . . This might be a partial explanation as to why our Amanda has taken up with boy toys or toyboys.

Besides the fact that both were sexually abused by men, there seems to be little similiarity between the two cases of abuse.

He: a stranger
She: a trusted neighbor

He: a public place (the cinema)
She: a private place (the home)

He: one time
She: multiple times

He: the only victim
She: not the only victim?

While this has changed from time to time,

He: feels no guilt for what happened
She: felt guilt for what happened
