These are dedicated to Laura.

While the British film, "The Lair of the White Worm" is remarkablely free of British idioms. For example, it uses the word "back" instead of "boot," as in "Put your rucksack in the back" and not "Put your rucksack in the boot." There are a number of noticable British idioms in the film. And each week, we'll feature one here. This week . . .
