As I said in an earlier post, 53 minutes, or the time that Lady Sylvia and Kevin arrive at Temple House at about 4:53 p.m., and Lord James arrives at Temple House at about 5:46 p.m., has yet to be accounted for. But, . . .

if you take away the 2.5 minutes, excluding the Snakes 'n' Ladders game, that Lady Sylvia and Kevin spend in the parlor, that leaves 50.5 minutes.

Then if you take awasy the 3.5 minutes that Lady Sylvia and Kevin spend in the bath, that leaves 47 minutes.

Now, we do not know how long the Snakes 'n' Ladders game lasted, but, a comparable game to that one in the film would last 12.5 minutes. Subtract that, and one has 34.5 minutes left.

Nor do we know how long it took Kevin to strip off his wet scout uniform, his wet underwear, and everything else that was wet, towel down, and put on one of Lady Sylvia's dressing gowns, but, it was probably close to 3.5 minutes. Subtract that, and one is left with 31 minutes.

I don't know where the parlor is in relationship to the bath nor the bath to the front door, but, if we guess it is one minute from the parlor to the bath, then two minutes from the bath to the front door, that makes 3 minutes. Subtract that, and one is left with 28 minutes or less then a half hour that cannot be accounted for.

Of course, as Lady Sylvia was upset she had forgotten to turn off all the lights that could be seen from the outside, she probably did not park the Jag in front of the house, when she and Kevin first arrived, but, instead, parked it behind the house or in a garage, but, I wouldn't care to guess how long that took.
