Dude, try not to take this the wrong way, bud...but you needs to calm down. Aight, I would love to run the clan, but I don't have the time. Would I like too? Yes. Alot of people here are those I consider freinds, and I don't like the thought of simply leaving. However, I also dislike the thought of semi-active members holding high ranking positions. It was one of the things I didn't like in the old SH, and I aint gonna like it in the new one. For some reason, people seem to think I don't like to follow my own rules, or something. And, tell me Marx, can you really blame me for wanting to still have a peice of the leadership? I mean, gimme a break...I've been runnin' this forum, and keeping these people together and talkin' since FEBRUARY. Aight, I've put a hell of a lot of thought, time, and effort into making sure SH would come back to live, and I'm so sorry if wanting to be in charge after that effort proves successful.

At least I don't dissapear without a word, come back almost a year later and say "Ok, can I have my leadership spot back?" Aight, it just doesn't work that way. Maybe that's how things happen in real life, but clans aren't exactly mirror images of the real world. Essentially, what I'm saying is this, "Ok yea...you did alot for the clan way back when, but what have you done for it lately?"

Drake and Tseng are probably the only people who read this board who even remember you're leadership. Everyone else knows me and Drake. I don't know you. I don't know how you lead, or what you're policies are (aside from trying to enforce barely justified age-rules)


All I was simply tryin' to say was that I'll be around, and if anyone wants to ask me for advise or something, I'll give it. And if you're afraid of "lots of pissed off 12-year olds" running ramant through the channel, well...there's a really easy solution to that. Change the channel. I was present for 2 channel-changes. First there was {[Haven]} then ~Haven~, and finally -Haven-. It took all of a 2 days before everyone was used to it, and the people we didn't want bothering us weren't bothering us. If they decide to be really immature and use the /msg command, all you have to do is /ignore them, and it's no problem.

All I'm saying is that if you had this 16-year rule in effect two years ago, a good number of people who are willing to be with you right now never would've made it. Tseng, someone you said you were proud to have recruited, never would've made it. And I'll say it quite simply, Tseng, along with Anthrax, Ryan, and anyone else around here who doesn't particularly care for that little rule, and without their preseance....I'd've said "screw it, SH is dead" and moved on.

You wanna run SH and change the name to BrimStone, by all means go right ahead. ::hands Marx the leadership papers to SH, except SH has been crossed out and Brimstone is written it's place. This edit appears to have been done by a crayon:: But I'm tellin' ya that I don't think it's a good idea.

You don't leave a clan, whether you're reasons are valid or not, whether you're reasons are under you're shpere of control or not, come back a year later and assume them to have saved you're place for you. That's all I'm saying, bud.

I'm sorry if I scared you off, but I'm sure anyone on this board can tell you how killer I am in a debate. Don't mess with me. ;-) If you really wanna run the show, stick around for a few months...you're experience, you'll be on the top in no time flat, and then you can try to enforce an age-limit rule. (Never gonna work, bud...not over the 'net)
