We would have no problem with a document in support of basic human rights for all prisoners at Maghaberry, providing that such a document does not indeed criminalize Republicans by placing them on a categorical par with ODCs. If in fact this document does appear to support the future alignment of all prisoners, regardless of political affiliation or lack thereof, thus opening the door to the issuance of prison uniforms and the annihilation of any hopes for Political Status; then the IFC will have to carefully consider its aims and our support of such a strategy.

We would refrain from any decisions in this matter until we are able to view this document and come to a determination as a group.
