There haven't been many studies (maybe one or two, and those were done by the manufacturer) and they really weren't all that conclusive and very limited. There is a researcher independent of the manufacturer studying it. She found some disturbing results. Kinetin killed flies she exposed it too. The % used wasn't that high, higher than what is found in Osmotics, Almay, the px version, and TBS, but not by much. The jury is still out. My doctor said that nobody really knows how much you need to deliver results without harming cells. Nobody really knows if kinetin will harm human cells. Of course if something seems to be working for you, keep with it. Cosmetics are tested for irritation and if they are on the market they are safe, they just may not deliver results. I did try Almay's Kinetin night cream last night. It was really sticky and heavy feeling.

My docotor did say copper was very good. It is sometimes perscribed to paitents with wounds that are not healing. Personally I'm sticking with copper, I've gotten very good results with Neutrogena Visibly Firm. He did give me a copper serum to use on the the sores I have that aren't healing (that is why I went in).
