i was already down at the barn when my 2 daughters showed up. they brought their horses in and got ready for their lessons. I was waiting in the ring when they came out. they mounted and went to the rail. After a couple of mins I told them to trot."Emily, keep your hands up and quiet, Holly heels down and thigh and knee against the saddle." They trotted around some more correcting their mistakes. "Holly walk, Emily canter." emily cantered a few mins and then Holly took a turn. they reversed and did the same thing the other way. Holly trotted over a crossrail for the first time and Emilt trotted over her first pole on Flick. They cooled their horses out and untacked them. They turned them back out and we went up to the houde with the dogs...
