Emily walked into the barn. Flick stuck his head over his dark stall door. He nickered gently at her. "Hi hansome boy." she said. "How are you settling in? Can I ride you tomorrow?" Flick nodded his head up and down like he was saying yes. Emily laughed and went into the tack room for the foal halter. Her Mom had asked her to halter train Kat, Sparkle's foal. Emily walked into the stall. she gently talked to Kat and put the halter on. He didn't make a fuss. She led him around the stall and he even let her groom him.
She then gave him a pat and took his halter off. She put the halter away and gave all the horses 2 flakes of hay to munch on overnight. Courage even got some and he was in the pasture."Night hansome boy." Emily said to flick as she turned out the lights in the barn and went back up to the house for dinner.
