Date Posted: 16:46:55 12/29/02 Sun Jon walked through the barn and opened Montana’s stall door. The playful QH pranced over to his owner and Jon hooked him in crossties. As he was grooming the gelding, Elie walked over. The teen was Helen’s niece. “Hey, Jon.” She said flirtatiously, grinning. “Hi, Elie.” He replied, tightening Montana’s girth. “I was thinking about riding, but I don’t have anyone to ride with.” She said, hinting hopefully. “You can go on a trail ride with me. Go ahead and saddle up Ke Ke.” Jon said, grinning kindly. Elie grinned triumphantly and, with Jon’s quiet help, tacked up Ke Ke. He tossed her into the saddle at the beginning of the trail and then he mounted. “This is Suzie’s favorite trail, so we come this way a lot.” Jon remarked, smiling as he thought of his girlfriend. “Suzie is a very nice girl, but she hardly seems your type.
