(continued from Stormy on the SLB)

After all the horses have eaten and all the stalls are clean, Kelsey takes Tori out and grooms him. Then she tacks him up and leads him out of the barn into the snow. "Good thing we put snow pads on you" Kelsey tells him as he prances a circle around her in the powdery, white snow. Kelsey quickly puts her foot in the stirrup and swings onto Tori's back. Tori crowhops a few times, eager to start their ride, then Kelsey walks him on a circle for 10 minutes in front of the barn before she heads down to the trails, letting him move at a flowing trot. She heads down to the trails, then lets him canter a little. Once she gets to the clearing, she lets him take the reins and gallop across the clearing, spraying the snow everywhere. Then she slows him to a trot and trots him until they are halfway back to the barn. then she slows him to a walk and lets him walk the rest of the way. When they get back to the barn she throws a cooler over him and walks him up and down the barn isle to make sure he is completely cool. then she takes his tack off and grooms and blankets him and leads him to the paddock to turn him out for the afternoon. Saddle walks down the isle as she is heading to work with Legacy. "Did you have a good ride?" She asks. "yeah, Tori was great!" Kelsey replies. "Ok, well i think What I Got has settled in pretty well, so later if you want to ride her i think you should" Saddle tells her. "Ok, i just want to work with Legacy a little first" Kelsey replies. she goes into Legacy's stall and takes the weanling out. Then she grooms her and leads her up and down the barn isle a few times before turning her out. After Legacy, she goes to What I Got's stall. The mare kicks her stall, eager to get out. "No" Kelsey tells her as she halters her. Then she leads her into the isle and grooms her. The young mare dances excitedly in the crossties. "You might be well settled in, but i can tell your pretty fresh off the track" Kelsey tells her as she tacks her up. Then she leads her to the indoor and walks her around a few times before mounting. She keeps the mare on a 20 meter circle until she is sure that she isnt planning on being bad, then lets her walk around the entire ring. After a few laps, she trots the mare for a little while, then cools her out and gets off. She takes her back to the barn and makes her comfortable, then turns her out and goes to talk to Saddle. "What did you think of her? Saddle asks. "She's great! Alot calmer than she seems like she'll be" Kelsey replies. "Did she give you a hard time?" Saddle asks. "Only in the isle, she was pretty excitable" Kelsey replies. "Ok" Saddle tells her. Then Saddle leaves to go ride.
