Nor do I wish to have my carved flesh festooned with marshmallow goo or spattered with raisins and pecans. Nor do I wish to be mashed up with an egg and condensed milk and put into a graham cracker pie shell. I have rights. I have dignity. I have the biological imperative to stay in the rich warm brown soil and sprout and recreate. I belong to Amnesty International and hate each and every one of you reading this. I hate you, I tell you! Further more, I am a sweet potato and not a yam! A yam is a starchier, white, not-as-sweet tuber indigenous to Africa whereas I am a purely American girl. You pricks!
