In reply to: Sacred Poontang 's message, "What strikes me as interesting about that scripture isn't the obedience to higher powers part, but the "there is no power but of God" part." on 21:09:25 01/02/03 Thu

God in his magnificent beneficence or benevolent magnificence allows Satan to flourish so that our struggle to come to Him is that much more sweeter: for example, Glenda Yenta, led down the carnality’s alleyway by Chadi’s nipples, must make a choice whether to snub these treacherous teats–in so doing, her (essentially non-existent) free will is exercised to the glory of God’s grace or to the shame of her appetites. The greater the personage, the greater the temptation God will conjure up: that is why the captains of finance in this country are plummeting like stock shares. Unfortunately when our exemplars of authority fall, the lower orders tend to follow suit; thus in our public schools we must inculcate the importance of accepting hypocrisy in those who dwell above us.

These heady theological conundrums have left us with a throbbing migraine and may have even resuscitated our gout. We see nothing for it but a hogshead of 18 y.o. Glen Morangie single malt scotch. Now where does Chadi keep his highball glasses in this alcazar?

Jesus Himself, however, tells us to "resist not evil" (Matthew 5:39)...Sacred Poontang22:18:48 01/02/03 Thu
I submit to you sir, that, at least for G.Y., chadi's teats are a doorway to transcendence, to a fuller experience of the Divine.Sacred Poontang03:17:41 01/07/03 Tue
