Subject: Is Neo really human?

Just a thought after reading some posts here. One person did a check about what we now of matrix and started to say "Neo is human..." (the rest is not important for my point).

We all think of the movie by the point of view of humans. So we admit that Neo, Trinity and Morpheus are human and they try to escape and fight the Matrix. We don't doubt this because These 3 guys are the heroes of the movie and we identify ourselves to them.

About Neo's behaviour: I was never "suprised" of Neo's choices (he takes the good pill, he saves Trinty, he sits on the bench next to the Oracle, he fights the agent, he follows Morpheus with no hesitation). He does EXACTLY what he has to do. That doesn't sound so human to me (with our free will of choice, if we have one). The Oracle knows what he will do because he is a part of the Matrix.

This is just a little thought and I'm open for every idea here because the topic is so pationate and I like a lot of the ideas here.

Now to my point: what if Neo is not a human and just a "program" inside the Matrix that is "programmed" by the Matrix and the goal of the Matrix is for Neo to become more human? I think over the time he becomes more human with how he acts. The Matrix gives him more and more choices to make but till now he failed 5 times because he always came back to the source and the Matrix had to reload. The keymaker told him that he will be home if he takes that door...and so he is again at home in the core program with the Architect!!! That doesn't sound like my home! He failed because he always acts like expected (like a program). He is a program that is learning.

Morpheus and Trinity are not human either and they are there to guide him to become more human. Neo is the one because he was programmed for that. To see what's beyond the Matrix. Something a normal program can't do because it's not programmed to. He might be a "program" made by a human to make the machine world more independent. I think programmers are looking for putting more human intuition in computer programs...

Well. I don't know if it's a good idea but sometimes it's also good to change the point of view and also not to admit what we admit naturally at first because we are human, that is that Neo is human.

Well...this was a point of view of a computer program. I will now reboot.
