I find your ideas very interesting. I'm glad to see somebody coming up with new ideas.
Yes, there are obvious religious and philosophical elements in the movie, and they must be understood before we can attemt to fully understand what the Matrix trilogy is about...at least i think so. The ideas you have presented simply make sense, but the mystery remains. Keep the ideas coming.
Think about this: I heard that the W. brothers said that the first movie is about birth, the second about living, and the third about death. You seem to be more knowledgable in the areas of philosophy and religion so perhaps you can think about this and comment. I am eager to see what you come up with.
