Subject: what happened

I never was a fan of the matrix untill lately, i really got into it and i really really like the idea in the movie, i think its creative as hell. I like movies like this.
Here is how I understood the whole deal from Arch's conversation and the movie itself.
Arch calls Neo the eventuality of anomaly in the matrix. This means that when Neo enters the matrix, he acts as a program that does not follow the rules of the matrix, he acts as an anomaly. Matrix, however, is a program that has its rules and when there is somebody like Neo in it who keeps bending and breaking them and creating other anomalies (like creating another, new Agents Smith), the matrix eventually will crash. If the matrix crashes, people connected to it will perceive it as the end of the world and die. Matrix can only be turned off, if it crashes, people die. Not to let it happen, it has to be rebooted and rid of anomalies (such as Neo, some Zion people, agent smith), it has to start out fresh. Things like agent smith can be removed by rebooting, Neo and some people of Zion have to be destroyed. Zion has to be totally destroyed because Neo has to be destroyed, which means that Zion will no longer be controlled using the idea of THE ONE anymore. Neo could go to the right door, choose 24 people to rebuild Zion and let the machines kill him and restart the matrix fresh or he could enter the left door and go back to the matrix and let it crash thus killing the human race. Neo chose the left door and right away got attacked by the machines in the real world. (in the first matrix, Morpheus said "... [the one] is coming with hail and destruction of the matrix, end the war" after a pause, he added "bring freedom to our people").
Now here is the part that is more complicated:
If you think about it, there is no reason to select 24 people to start Zion, I mean why start it, why not just let people who reject the matrix go to Zion and start it whenever they disconnect. This means the machines need Zion.
Here is the first possibility :
1) Zion is another matrix. The machines use the idea of The One as a way to control all the people who reject the matrix because that is exactly what they need, a belief that they are resisting control. The One is basically the only way to control them and not let them question reality and try to get out of Zion too. They may have batteries in the real world but the mainframe computer needs uninterrupted source of energy which comes from people in Zion. All machines get power from the main matrix but zion exists to power the computer that runs the main matrix. When the main matrix is being rebooted, the machines only have the power of the 24 people of the new zion (that the one selects before he is killed) - the minimum power the computer needs to run the reboot process. During the process, all the machines go off except for that main one and then (after the matrix is rebooted) they receive power again and start working again the same way they did before, I mean machines don't care whether they die for a short period, they just go off and on. Neo is needed to 'unplug' 24 people into Zion and he is killed and matrix is rebooted. Otherwise matrix crashes and there is no need for Zion either cause computer that runs on it won't work. When Zion gets too populated, it is destroyed because it is not needed and it is more chaotic than the main matrix, thus it becomes harder to control. This explains why Neo could stop those robots in reality. During one of the fights in the matrix, he started bleeding, which means that although he was ready and could even fly and all, the rules of the matrix still affected him and he still had some little doubts. During the whole movie, his skills still increased in the matrix as he got exposed to those doors and all that unrealistic crap more and more. He flew faster in the end than he could before and he could even take a bullet out of trinity. The reason why Neo could stop those robots is because after meeting that architect, his way of thinking totally changed and he realized something nobody could ever think of in Zion, he sensed a similarity in the 'real world' to the matrix realized it was a program. Nobody could ever think of the Zion being unreal but he did. He could either be in coma because he is in shock from his realization or because he snapped out of the matrix dream into reality. Now, if all of this is so, in Revolutions, Neo could realize that he can snap out of his dream and enter the matrix at his will and it could end with him ending up in the real world during the rebooting process, while all the machines are off and turning off that rebooting manframe.

2) Another thing is that Zion is needed to control The One. If The One was born alone, he would do some damage. The one can really mess the matrix up so Zion is created and Oracle gives people the prophecies about the one so people search for him themselves, unplug them (in the first matrix, during the unplugging of Neo, machines kinda helped them, they simply unplugged him and left letting morpheus pick him up). So with Zion and their beliefs, the one is under control. That guy who talked to Neo in Zion about the machines in Zion, said he had no idea how exactly they do what they do. He asked Neo to notice how many machines there were and how they all depended on those machines and how its a mystery how they work. That guy looked like he knew something that he wasn't saying and I think that was that the Zion was totally controlled by machines. The One is like the most rejecting person from the people who reject the matrix, and there is no way he could ever unplug if morpheus didn't unplug him. In the first matrix morpheus said that the one unplugged first when the resistance started. That means that the Ones before chose the right door. But before he could choose a door, he had to be freed by the Zion people. So zion was there first and it was created to control the one. Revolution could go about how Neo was the first to choose the right door because of his love for trinity. He went there and thus, he did not do what machines wanted and expected him to do and did not submit under their control. When the one realizes things to the extent he did when he sees architect, he has to be controlled the most, so the 6th neo chose the left door and is not under control now when it matters the most. Revolution could just tell us that and Neo can really be something special and be the one who can do anything even in real world and the struggle that went on in the first two matrix movies was basically about controlling the one. If machines could control him, he wouldnt matter, if they couldnt, then he could realize what he is and kick butt. He might just realize all that after he comes out of coma and start a war in the real world and lead people and defeat the machines. This is probably how Revolutions will go about it.

I think that everyone expects something like a second matrix explanation in Revolutions or some other twist in the story but I think that they will come back to simple in Matrix 3 and give simple explanations or no explanations at all for some things. They probably will simply show the last war, the revolution not giving any other explanation on how Neo can use his powers in real world other than he is The One. They will show a war where people win. I think it will be the simplest matrix. You know how they like making silly and happy endings to movies that started out with a dark story. Well we will see.

Hey, by the way, people who say that there was no need for neo to fight the clones of smith if he could just fly away, gotta think of it this way. He defeated the agent smith in the first matrix easily so Neo thought he could defeat him as easily again, but smith changed, he became a different program now that is impossible to beat. He tried to destroy him but after fighting and fighting and realizing that he cant, after they started kicking hiss butt, he flew away. What's not to get there?

Anyway, see yall later
