Ok, I heard that there was only gunna be two, the first and the third. There was going to be no 2nd really, just alittle more to what is now the third. But, even though the Matrix doesn't really make sense unless youve watched it x ammount of times, or, in the case of Reloaded, played the game, the sequel didnt make sense asmuch as it could have so they sorted out what they needed extra and came up with a whole other movie's worth of material.

At least, thats what I heard at school, I personally think it may have been a Trilogy too.
