It would leave many un answered questions. Is Neo's "Dream" a replection of the state of play, for if he is back where he was, then Trinity has laready sent the white rabbit for him, and he will be sucked into the world he has just imagined, or maybe the story of the one is ever circling, with Neo waking up and falling asleep over and over.

Personally, i think after a while he would have begun to drool on his desk.
