中國一直以來也是維持士,農,工,商的四民社會,
但士人卻只埋首於經藉文學之中, 這是為甚麼呢?

因為中國人重道德而輕器用,
唯恐器械的創制干涉自然太過,
破壞了人與自然的和諧.

所以中國科學的落後與中國人重道德和祟尚自然有關.
