As one of Dr. Hoffman's students, let me also say 'hi'. Medieval history isn't the most lucid subject, particularly working from a decidedly 21st Century, Modern/Postmodern worldview, and I think this is a great medium for discussion. More courses should have this sort of dialogue between universities, faculty, and students, particularly in history/political science courses, which IMHO (in my honest opinion, for the Internet-lingo-uninitiated) neccessitate and in fact thrive upon some forum for the exchange of ideas.

Anyhew, just making my presence known.

PS: Dr. Hoffman, could this net me a few extra points onto my final grade, being the first of our class to post here? ;)
