I appreciated this week's presentation by the two women in Honeysuckle Rose. I thought they respected the bluegrass format and used creativity to make a nice balance. Nevertheless, I thought they were a little lost in where they were going with their music. It seemed as if they didnt really know what they wanted to do (musically), even though they can play many different songs and groups. This defining step of knowing where you want to go seems to either make or break a musician. The former presentations that we have had have all seem confident in what they are doing musically, so it was nice to see some younger musicians that weren't as sure and confident.
