Subject: Tuesday April 26th Performance

I really enjoyed Tuesdays performance and I thought that it was a great way to end the semester. I thought it was great to have Michelle and the two Gregs there just improvising the songs they were playing like they were at a jam session. It really seemed as if we were at a jam session and I saw many differences from their performance to the performance by Dominick and Justin the week before. Perhaps it was due to their age, but Justin and Dominick seemed a lot more nervous than Michelle and the two Gregs did. I also noticed that Dominick and Justin had a written plan of the songs that they were going to do and they kept referring to it during their time with us. Michelle and the Gregs seemed a lot more comfortable just improvising and playing the songs they felt that they wanted to play at the time. Although Michelle and the Gregs were a lot more comfortable performing in front of us, I felt that Dominick and Justin were a lot better musicians than Michelle and Gregs. Seems to me that playing music just comes so naturally to some people but one common theme that I saw with both groups is that they were doing what they loved and they wouldnt let anything stop them from doing that.
